Description:

The Windy City Wine Festival will give visitors the opportunity to sample more than 250 wines from around the world. There will be cooking demonstrations and wine & food seminars conducted by exhibiting wineries, Chicago area chefs and restaurants.

Volunteers for the festival will be asked to fill positions at any of 3 stations on the festival grounds:

Admissions Gate: Sell tickets, distribute wine glasses, tasting coupons and programs
Beverage Sales: Sell refreshments including soda, beer and wine
Hospitality Servicing: Greet guests of the corporate hospitality village, ensure guests have proper credentials for entry

All volunteers will receive a t-shirt that serves as their uniform while volunteering and is his/hers to keep. Volunteers will also be provided with a free ticket for the event.

The Grant Park Conservancy, a non-profit dedicated to maintaining and enhancing Grant Park, is the beneficiary of the 2012 Windy City Wine Festival.


Other Info: All volunteers should check-in at the Ticket Entrance located near Columbus Drive and Congress Parkway at Buckingham Fountain. This is Day 1 of a two-day event. Volunteers need to only attend one event, not both. All volunteers must be age 21 or older.
